are you really bisexual?
Prove it, complete this bisexual obstacle course
Well judging from what I’ve seen around Tumblr:
Obstacle 1 - be attracted to men and women exactly equally - in fact, be attracted to all men and to all women, in exactly the same way, cause otherwise ‘you’re actually X and just faking/experimenting with Y’
Obstacle 2 - Don’t be attracted to more than one man or woman because otherwise you’re just ‘desperate’
Obstacle 3 - Make sure you have sex with both men and women because your sexuality is irrelevant if you aren’t having sex
Obstacle 4 - Make sure you don’t have sex with more than one person because then you’re just desperate/slutty
Obstacle 5 - Don’t you DARE be attracted to a trans* or non-binary person - you don’t get to define your own sexuality!
Obstacle 6 - Make sure you’re attracted to trans* or non-binary persons, otherwise you’re judgmental and trans*phobic
Oh and make sure you do all of these at once
Did I miss any?
Pretty accurate. Although I’d add “and never ever leave a partner of one gender for someone of another gender” because you get all the “you’ll just leave me for a woman/for a man” types who cite that as a reason not to date you even if they liked you before finding out you’re bi.
