I’mma just say this because it’s annoying me. I know you white people love to point out that Cleopatra was ethnically Macedonian-Greek and that somehow means white, and that’s cool and whatnot. But we don’t know what that bitch looked like. She could have been the brownest Ptolemy ever in everdom. Just dark. We just don’t know. However, while it may scream “historical inaccuracy” for her to be cast as a WOC, I’mma need for y’all to relax. In a world where Gerard FUCKING Butler can play Atilla the Hun and a white dude can not only play the Prince of Persia, but also Jesus, I’mma need for y’all to shut the fuck up about “getting shit right”. It’s only historical inaccuracy when white people don’t win. I see you. It’s cute. But, STOP.
