Hello.

Please Help Baby Safiyyah!

rabbrakha:

Much to everyone’s surprise, my daughter got meningitis at birth and due to a lot of mistakes made by doctors as well, she consequently had severe brain damage after the bacteria ate her brain tissues. She just turned 3 on the 8th of April and she has global developmental delay, vision impairment and cerebral palsy. She doesn’t sit, or walk, or talk, or see properly. It’s really difficult to carry her around as she is on the chubby end and weighs more than 40lbs.

Looking at her you could never tell anything is wrong because she was a typical healthy child at birth without any abnormalities, but once you spend a little time with her you will start wondering why she’s not doing A LOT or ANY of the things her age children would be doing :(. It kills me to not have to go through milestones with her and there is a constant thought of what if something I could have done differently or been more aware of what the doctors were doing. But now were keeping all that behind us and just focusing and putting all our energy on Safiyyah’s well being… but we need help…

I want to raise a campaign for Safiyyah as we see so much potential in her. She was given just minutes to live and she has come so far with doctors in awe. She truly is a fighter! Her only medicine is intense therapy; vision therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and most important of them all-physiotherapy. Unfortunately, everything is so expensive. We as parents feel that with intense therapy sessions, she will soon enough be able to sit, stand, and walk on her own.

With contributors that may be able to fund money for her, it will substantially help us in giving Safiyyah the maximum support in achieving all the daily and basic functions of a normal human being, and I really hope that can happen sooner than later.

Please take a moment to read this, donate some money if possible, and spread the word. Farah needs help, and she can’t do it alone. Anything and absolutely everything counts. Please be generous.  Help spread the word.

i really fucking hate how many times i’ve had to turn to tumblr for help, but i’m basically out of options.

we gave our notice to our current landlord (the one who illegally covered up the burst sewage pipe that made josh sick) last week. we knew money would be tight, considering all the things we keep having to pay for, and we weren’t sure if we’d be able to make it, but we resolved to try to do it without asking for any help. we got a call yesterday from our landlord, saying that if we didn’t change our move-out date to the end of April instead of the 8th, that we would be charged “market price” rent for the month of April, instead of just the days we’d still be in the apartment.

market price is over 600$.

we make just over 700$ a month.

if we change the move-out date, we’ll loose the apartment we want to move into, but if we don’t, we won’t have any money to move out with, let alone pay all of our bills, get things turned on, and such. not to mention that come april, even if we don’t have to pay market price, our rent will still be raised. what little money we were able to raise last time has gone into our security deposit, first month’s rent, and bills.

if there’s anything you can give

anything at all

please help

i offer commissions here

and you can donate here

Hello everyone, my name is Luisa, I’m 16, and I’m kind of stuck right now. I’m in a place where I can’t come out right now, but if I don’t I’m going to implode. I’m a straight transgender female. I am out to one family member as gay, and while they took it well, I’m not sure the rest of my family would take it as well. I could be kicked out, as I have been before for “coming out” as Agnostic. I was hoping that maybe some of you could help me out a little bit, because I’d like to save up enough money to move out if need be. Also, as many of you know, transition is expensive. I need money for a whole new wardrobe, makeup, HRT, and maybe even surgeries. I am unemployed and growing increasingly desperate. I can’t live this way much longer before something drastic happens.

The best case scenario for me would be that my parents would deal with me being transgender, and they’d grow increasingly used to it until they accepted it. But even then they’d be reluctant to pay for gender therapy or doctors visits. I’m still young enough that if I can get on hormones soon I have a chance of developing into a natural looking girl, and that’s all I want. But all of that depends on if I can support myself financially or at least prove to my parents that I can cover most of the expenses. Literally any amount of money is appreciated greatly, and any amount makes my dream that much closer to reality. If you’re feeling generous, there is a donation button on my page. Thank you so much. Have a great day.

I HATE doing this

Our Christmas is ruined. My husband didn’t get a bonus from work like we were told would happen and next week is his last week of work until March or April. His last pay period was only three days of work so that paycheck is already gone. His next pay day is on the 20th but that’ll be dedicated to bills and food, as our food stamps have been reduced to only $200/month. That is what we have to feed our family of six for the entire month!

At this point, we don’t have money to get the kids anything for Christmas and will probably run out of food within a week and a half. I’m stressing so freaking much right now and feel like crying in the fetal position.

I would appreciate it so much if anyone could help, even just a little. I understand that money is tight for most right now, but if you can at least reblog this, maybe it’ll get to someone who can afford it.

My paypal is under quinnoriley@ymail.com, or you can go to the donate button on my blog. Thank you so much in advance!! You have no idea how much you would be helping us.

Jordin is 4 years old and was diagnosed with a brain tumor and brain cancer on August 22, 2012. The doctors were able to remove the entire tumor which ended up being bigger than a golf ball. The family is now trying to raise money for the rest of his treatment - the good news is they don’t have to do chemotherapy, however he will have to undergo radiation therapy five times a week. His mother has set up a website that you can check his progress and donate.
If you can’t donate PLEASE signal boost! Thank you. <3

Did you know that Chick-fil-A openly donates money to anti-gay Christian groups? Now you do. Fried chicken does not taste as delicious when you know that your purchase funds the perpetuation of intolerance in America.
Share this post to encourage others to increase awareness about where their money is being spent and to promote a  BOYCOTT of Chick-fil-A restaurants. There is power in numbers.

Do your own research. What other products do you buy that may be funding a cause that you don’t believe in? What other products do you buy that may be harming the environment? Don’t forget: Your dollar is your vote.

Tumblr, I hear you like cats. Help out this sweet baby!

getxsick:

There has been a cat hanging out around work lately, and it is just the sweetest thing. I would love to take it in, but unfortunately can’t. We are trying to find a home for it, but in the mean time would like to take it to the vet to get spayed/neutered and vaccinated. As a student, I can’t really afford to do this by myself. Please consider donating to help out this kitty! Any amount is welcomed and appreciated!!! Please reblog this!
